The president of Kiernan\u2019s Kindness,\u00a0Jeremy Brown<\/strong>, will be available to meet all who have questions, would like volunteer for the organization, or to help in any way. Refreshments and goodie bags will be available for humans and dogs alike. This event is free.\"\"<\/p>\n

Therapy dog teams consist of a dog and its owner\/trainer. Well-mannered, well-behaved dogs who enjoy meeting people are\u00a0professionally trained with their\u00a0handlers\u00a0to exemplify kindness, acceptance, teamwork, and courage\u00a0as living values and practices in the lives of others. Dog teams\u00a0provide comfort and emotional support to students in schools, survivors of abuse, survivors of national disasters, patients in hospitals, and a welcome relief to all in stressful situations in which interaction with a loving dog can be helpful.\u00a0\u00a0Kiernan\u2019s Kindness<\/strong>\u00a0now provides dog teams to schools, hospitals, and assisted living facilities, and looks to vastly expand their presence to new locations and populations.<\/p>\n

\"\"Kiernan\u2019s Kindness<\/strong>\u00a0is named in memory of\u00a0Kiernan Blaker<\/strong>, a close friend of Jeremy Brown, who truly cared about everyone and everything more than herself.\u00a0 According to Jeremy, \u201cShe was that bright spot in the room; a person with a passion for everything she did. We lost her at a very young age unexpectedly, and our mission is to help teach others to be kind, have acceptance of others, and always smile just like Kiernan did. Animals and children had a very special place in her heart and at this time in the world there is no better mission to spread, and to do so in a loving person\u2019s name.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jeremy Brown<\/strong>, president of Kiernan\u2019s Kindness<\/strong>, is the owner of The Complete Canine<\/strong>, a training facility for dogs and their owners specializing in training through socialization and positive reinforcement. Their curriculum includes\u00a0puppy, beginner, intermediate, advanced, agility, Come When Called, and AKC Canine Good Citizen training, as well as Therapy Dog Training. Jeremy Brown was recently voted a \u201cFavorite Trainer in Tucson\u201d in the Tucson Weekly\u2019s annual survey.<\/p>\n
